Mayukh Mallick

Mayukh Mallick is a Lecturer (Adjunct) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Southeast University, Dhaka, and a Research Assistant at the Microsystems & Nanoengineering Lab, University of Dhaka. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the University of Dhaka in 2024 with a CGPA of 3.89, graduating 4th in his class. Currently, he is pursuing his M.Sc. in EEE with a focus on Electronics and Materials Science, where he ranks 2nd in his cohort with a CGPA of 3.94.

His research interests lie at the intersection of semiconductor devices, nanoelectronics, and sensor technologies, with recent work on MOF-integrated laser-induced graphene sensors, low-dimensional InSe-based FETs, and electrochemical sensing platforms. He has secured competitive research grants, received the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship 2024–2025, and was awarded the Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship by the University of Dhaka. His work was also recognized among the Top 15 Oral Presentations at the Bangladesh National Semiconductor Symposium 2025. He has manuscripts under review in leading IEEE journals.

Beyond research, Mayukh is passionate about teaching, currently delivering courses on Electrical Circuit Design and mentoring undergraduate students.

Outside academia, he actively engages in writing, literature, and photography. His poems have been published in Dhaka Tribune, and he curates a personal literature blog alongside creative design and photography projects. A former Chair of the IEEE Photonics Society Student Branch Chapter at the University of Dhaka, he has also led several academic events and outreach initiatives.

Mayukh aspires to contribute to the advancement of nanoelectronic devices and integrated sensing systems, while continuing his journey as an educator and researcher.
